Sweets for my sweet

It's obviously the 24/7 librarian bit of me, but as soon as I read Mrs Pouncer's reminiscences on the Caramac bar over at Kevin's Commonplaces I felt the urge to google and see what I could find....

Thanks to the wonder that is t'interweb you can learn about Caramac,
Buy Caramac..and..um...well, actually, I'm not sure why you'd want one of these.

"A miniature bar of caramac in 1/12th scale... no contents... for your collection". For £1.50. Financial crisis? What financial crisis??

Tell Ellis! Tell Ellis with all available haste!

me know why! ELC sells a dinky kitchen play set complete with tins of five-a-day favourites like sweetcorn, kidney beans and asparagus tips. Irresponsible uncles then buy baby replica sweetie bars and cans of Guinness.

Obviously your mother does not make doll's houses - like wot mine does. Have you seen my Dracula Castle all in 1/12th scale??

No! Really? I think you need to blog a picture. Do think Dracula likes caramac?
